چکیده

Abstract Tianwen-1 (TW-1) is the first Chinese interplanetary mission to have accomplished orbiting, landing, and patrolling in a single exploration of Mars. After safe it essential reconstruct descent trajectory determine landing site lander. For this purpose, we processed images TW-1 optical obstacle-avoidance sensor (OOAS) digital orthophoto map (DOM) area using our proposed hybrid-matching method, which process divided into two parts. In first, crater matching used obtain geometric transformations between OOAS DOM calculate position second, feature applied compute We calculated be 109.9259° E, 25.0659° N with positional accuracy 1.56 m reconstructed horizontal root mean squared error 1.79 m. These results will facilitate analyses system optimize control strategy follow-up planetary-exploration missions.

Mars Science Laboratory Entry, Descent and Landing Trajectory Reconstruction Uncertainty Assessment

On August 5, 2012 the Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) entry vehicle successfully entered and landed on the Mars surface. During Entry Descent and Landing (EDL), the Curiosity rover was carried by the entry vehicle and carefully lowered to the ground near Gale crater. After completion of the EDL mission, trajectory reconstruction analyses were performed in order to assess the performance of the en...

Minimum-Fuel Powered Descent for Mars Pinpoint Landing

Motivated by the requirement for pinpoint landing in futureMarsmissions, we consider the problemofminimumfuel powered terminal descent to a prescribed landing site. The first-order necessary conditions are derived and interpreted for a point-mass model with throttle and thrust angle control and for rigid-bodymodel with throttle and angular velocity control, clarifying the characteristics of the...
